Motorola BSR 64000 TX 3-Slot Decoupled Downstream I/O Module
The TX 3-Slot Decoupled Downstream I/O is a high-density transmission interface designed for the Motorola/Arris BSR 64000 HD platform. Occupying three vertical I/O slots in the rear of the chassis, this module provides the physical RF breakout for high-capacity downstream data and video services. The "Decoupled" architecture allows for independent scaling and software-defined mapping of downstream resources, a critical requirement for modern DOCSIS 3.0 and CCAP-migration strategies.
Core Technical Features:
- 3-Slot High-Density Design: Utilizes a triple-slot footprint to accommodate the extensive RF cabling and shielding required for high-bandwidth downstream constellations.
- Decoupled Architecture: Provides maximum flexibility by allowing downstream QAM resources to be mapped to any MAC domain, regardless of the upstream physical port configuration.
- DOCSIS 3.0 Optimized: Engineered to support high-order modulation (256-QAM) and extensive channel bonding, delivering the multi-gigabit throughput required for modern internet tiers.
- Universal RF Connectivity: Features robust F-connector or MCX interfaces (depending on specific sub-revision) designed for carrier-grade signal integrity and minimal ingress.
- RoHS Compliant: Manufactured to meet lead-free environmental standards, ensuring compliance for international and EU-based cable operators.
