The Arris D5 CPCI-AC-6U is the redundant AC power supply unit (PSU) module designed for the Arris D5 Universal Edge QAM (UEQ) chassis.
It converts standard AC mains power into the DC voltages required by the D5's internal components (QAM cards, WAN modules, and controllers) via the CompactPCI (cPCI) backplane.
Form Factor: 6U High, CompactPCI (cPCI) standard compliant (PICMG 2.11).
Input Voltage: Universal AC Input (typically 90–264 VAC, 47–63 Hz), allowing global compatibility without manual switching.
Redundancy: Hot-swappable and supports N+1 redundancy (usually configured with dual PSUs in a single chassis) to ensure uninterrupted operation if one unit fails.
